SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the F & B Manager, is responsible to communicate, process and expedite guest orders to the culinary team in the kitchen to ensure timely delivery of meals while providing quality service to owners, guests and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner maintaining or exceeding the company standards.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide exceptional service by ensuring that food items are correctly delivered to customers
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and be the liaison between front and back of the house
  • Maintains cleanliness and stock of work/outlet
  • Ensures the proper presentation of plating of each menu item that will be served
  • Garnish and inspect products prior to delivery to the guest
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments whenever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
  • Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior wen interacting with public and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or skill required.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Minimum of six months of food and beverage experience
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Policies and procedures of the department
  • Customer service principles and practices

FOOD EXPEDITOR

 

  • Ability to speak and read the English language
