Job Overview:

The Sebastian Vail is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This critical role ensures that our kitchen maintains a clean, efficient, and organized environment, enabling our chefs to prepare exceptional dishes for our guests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.

- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and kitchen area, including loading and unloading dishwashers, removing trash, and recycling materials.

- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure they are in optimal condition for use.

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

- Support kitchen staff with food prep and other duties as needed, which may include washing vegetables, organizing supplies, and restocking as necessary.

- Communicate effectively and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen service.

- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures set forth by the establishment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

- Basic understanding of food safety standards.
