Director of Food and Beverage

The Food and Beverage team is driven by passion and creativity. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Director of Food and Beverage to elevate our restaurant program and drive the success of our food and beverage operations.

Position Overview:

The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dining experiences that align with our brand standards. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of culinary trends, excellent financial acumen, and a passion for guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the food and beverage strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

- Oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, catering, and room service.

- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained at all times.

- Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to create and update menus that reflect market trends and customer preferences.

- Manage the food and beverage budget, control costs, and maximize profitability through effective cost management strategies.

- Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional programs to increase revenue and enhance guest experiences.

- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring staff are motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company values.

- Monitor and evaluate service standards, guest feedback, and employee performance to continually improve operations.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration among team members.

- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses to enhance service offerings and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with a proven track record in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment.

- Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food and beverage trends, including nutrition and health-focused offerings.

- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.

- Proven ability to analyze financial statements and implement cost control measures effectively.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in public speaking and presentations.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make quick decisions.

- Knowledge of food and beverage regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainable practices is a plus.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
