Sales and Conference Services Manager - The Sebastian Vail

Join our luxury hotel’s Sales & Marketing team. Lead group and catering sales while coordinating exceptional meetings and events from inquiry through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, negotiate, and secure group, catering, and SMERF business.
  • Maintain client relationships and meet established revenue goals.
  • Prepare contracts, banquet event orders, and group resumes, and coordinate event operations, on-site support, and billing.
  • Identify opportunities to increase food, beverage, banquet, and hotel outlet revenue.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in conference services, hospitality sales, or catering. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated sales, negotiation, organizational, communication, and guest service skills.
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations and food and beverage service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi/FDC. A college degree and luxury hospitality experience are preferred.

Position Type: Full-time, exempt, on-site. Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing. Requirements: Flexible availability and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
